REFLECTION

When I look into the mirror, all that I see

Is a reflection of a person but I don’t see me

Grey blue eyes, dark brown hair

She is someone staring back

With a lifeless glare

I wonder in the mirror there

Who is that girl with long brown hair

Who is she, what goes on in there?

Does she have thoughts or dreams to share

Them sad eyes in the mirror

They tell many a sad tale

Of each moment that she tried

Then how badly she failed

The lines and signs all over her face

Say life has been tough, she feels out of place

The mirror tells a different story

How she would love some fame and glory

But as the years have past her by,

she wonders how to even try

to see her reflection and learn how to smile
