I love you
To say “I love you”.
Is only a word.
Nothing unusual.
Just not often heard.
To say “I love you”
Means so much.
Just a smile.
Or somebody’s touch.
To say “I love you”.
Can sometimes be hard.
Not in no letter.
Nor even a card.
To say “I love you”.
Can really hurt.
Especially when….
You’ve been chucked in the dirt!
To say “I love you”
Can complicate things.
Means so much more.
When you’re wearing a ring.
To say “I love you”.
Can be the beginning of a good end.
To find your true love and very true friend
